The Center of Excellence for the Reduction of Illicit Drug Supply (CdE), in partnership with the International Special Advisory of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Delegation of European Union in Brazil, next week, organizes a webinar on the impact of the pandemic on drug trafficking in Brazil.
Aimed at public security professionals, the event will take place on March 2nd and 3rd, and registration will continue until next Thursday (25th). The objective is to analyze and share information about the new scenario, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and its possible consequences.
The webinar will be composed of panels that will discuss the global and regional effects of COVID-19 on drug trafficking, traditional routes, data and general studies on the subject, restrictive measures of traffic and seizures at borders, drug trafficking in the deep web, regional and international cooperation in innovative responses and cooperation actions, socioeconomic impact on anti-drug policies, as well as question-and-answer rounds with public participation.
